Rebuilt right,
or we don’t ship it.

Transmissions, differentials, and transfer cases. That’s the whole sign. Every unit is torn down, measured, machined, and documented like an engineering drawing — then it proves itself on the dyno before it goes back in your truck.

Sec. 01 · Field diagnosis

What’s it doing? Start here.

Pick the symptom. We’ll tell you the likely cause and the honest price band before you ever call — including when the cheap fix is the right one.

Diagnosis card · Slipping

RPM climbs, speed doesn't

Likely cause — Worn clutch packs or low line pressure

Slipping usually starts as fluid breakdown and ends as burned friction material. Caught early, a fluid and filter service can genuinely buy you years. If the frictions are already worn, no fluid on earth fixes it — that's internal work.

Typical outcome: past ~120k miles with confirmed slip, most units need a rebuild. Under that, roughly half leave after a service and a follow-up check.

Sec. 02 · Standard procedure

The rebuild, documented.

Six plates. Same sequence on every unit, whether it’s a work truck’s 10R80 or a ’72 Bronco’s transfer case. If a step isn’t documented, it didn’t happen.

  1. Plate 01 / 06

    Inspect

Road test, factory scan, and a line-pressure test — on paper, before any wrench moves. You get written findings and a teardown estimate first.

    PRESSURE TEST · ALL RANGES

  2. Plate 02 / 06

    Teardown

Unit out and fully disassembled on a clean bench. Every hard part is measured against factory spec and photographed. Nothing is 'probably fine.'

    FULL DISASSEMBLY · DOCUMENTED

  3. Plate 03 / 06

    Machine

Cases hot-tanked, mating surfaces trued, drums resurfaced, bushings and bearings replaced as a set. Fluid channels are vacuum-tested for leaks.

    SURFACES TRUED · ±0.001 IN

  4. Plate 04 / 06

    Reassemble

New frictions, steels, and seals throughout — with upgraded parts where the factory design is a known weak point. Clearances set by dial indicator.

END PLAY SET · TO SPEC

  5. Plate 05 / 06

    Dyno-test

Every rebuild runs to operating temperature through every gear before it ships. If shift pressures don't match the spec sheet, it goes back on the bench.

    ALL GEARS · AT TEMP

  6. Plate 06 / 06

    Warranty

3 years / 36,000 miles on parts and labor, nationwide, in writing. The paperwork rides home in your glovebox with the dyno sheet.

They sent photos of my worn brake pads before doing anything, with the price up front. First shop I've ever fully trusted.

Booked online at 10pm, dropped off at 7:30, had my car back by lunch with a video of the inspection. Wild.

They turned away work another shop said I needed. Told me my transmission was fine. Who does that?
