Since 1987
Shops change hands, chains move in, and the corner of Burnet and 48th keeps smelling like fresh coffee and clean oil. Here’s how we got here.

1987
Frank Malone Sr. opens a two-bay shop with one lift, a percolator, and a handshake policy: fix it like it's your mother's car.
2004
Two more bays, the first computer, and the 3-year / 36k-mile warranty — put in writing because Frank Jr. got tired of saying “trust me.”
2015
Third-generation Pat returns from a dealership job with hybrid certification and a rule: every estimate ships with photos, sent to your phone.
Today
Six bays, nine people, and the phone number we've had since '87. Frank Sr. still stops by on Fridays to inspect the coffee.

Notes from the neighborhood
“First shop I've ever fully trusted.”
They sent photos of my worn brake pads before doing anything, with the price up front. First shop I've ever fully trusted.
“Customer for life.”
Dealer quoted $2,400. These guys fixed the actual problem for $410 and showed me why. Customer for life.
“Back by lunch. Wild.”
Booked online at 10pm, dropped off at 7:30, had my car back by lunch with a video of the inspection. Wild.
“Zero pressure.”
As someone who knows nothing about cars, they explained everything without talking down to me. Fair prices, zero pressure.
“Who does that?”
They turned away work another shop said I needed. Told me my transmission was fine. Who does that?

Book online, call, or just roll in — state inspections and battery tests never need an appointment. There’s a pot of coffee on and a couch that’s comfier than it looks.
Key drop for early birds & night owls.
Look for the green awning and whoever’s dog is visiting that day.
